Cosmic Sets
From deep listening to deep dancing
Progressive, trance and psytrance. Ambient, psybient, psychill, downtempo and organic/deep house.
Festival dancefloor, conscious dance, sunset, ambient lounge or dedicated listening set. The setting helps shape where the music goes.
Explore
Progressive, trance and psytrance: layered, flowing and psychedelic, with room for depth, intensity, playfulness and release.
Sets are shaped in the moment rather than rigidly predetermined. The direction comes from the decks, but the dancers are part of it too.
Festivals, specialist events and dancefloors with space to explore.
Immerse
Ambient, psybient, psychill, downtempo and organic/deep house offer a different kind of engagement.
Sometimes spacious and near-still, sometimes rhythmic and deeply absorbing. A set can remain within one territory or move across them as the setting evolves.
Dedicated listening sets, festival mornings and sunsets, ambient lounges and chill spaces, cafés, smaller stages and late-night landings.
Conscious Dance
Music, movement, intention and connection make conscious dance a natural part of the Cosmic Turtle territory. From stillness and gentle engagement to playfulness and deep intensity, the music responds to the dancers and the intention of the space.
Cosmic Turtle is also behind Somatic Frequencies, an emerging conscious-dance project centred on movement, connection and community.
Conscious-dance bookings and collaborations are welcome.
The Dancefloor
A Cosmic Set is led, but never in isolation.
There's a constant exchange between DJ and dancers. Movement, energy and response feed back into the music, shaping where the set goes next.
The same principle applies beyond the dancefloor. An ambient room, a café or a sunset set has its own energy. The music needs to respect the space it occupies.
Listen
A sample of my recorded sets spanning psytrance, progressive trance, deep house, psybient, psychill, downtempo and beyond.
They include my psytrance set at Buddhafield Festival, alongside sets created for Pollen Tribe, Kommüne and other events.
This is some of the territory, not its boundaries.
